“Turning Waste into Value — Providing lounge chairs for local students to rest and relax in community areas around PMC.”

PMC’s management and employees delivered lounge chairs to students of Khok Kham School

On 29 October 2025, PMC’s management and employees delivered lounge chairs to students of Khok Kham School, located in Khok Kham Subdistrict, Mueang District, Samut Sakhon — a school within the nearby community surrounding PMC. The lounge chairs were creatively repurposed from unused wooden pallets from PMC’s factory, rather than being sold off as scrap. This initiative reflects PMC’s belief that if waste is to be transformed, it should be transformed into something of value for the community.

As part of PMC’s commitment to responsible resource management and community well-being, the company identified an opportunity to create positive impact during a site visit to Khok Kham School. Noticing that students lacked proper seating areas during their lunch and break periods, PMC repurposed unused wooden pallets from its operations and transformed them into functional “resting chairs” for the school. This initiative not only diverts waste from disposal but also enhances the well-being of local students in the surrounding community.

In addition, PMC provided educational scholarships and fluorescent paper supplies to further support the school’s learning activities, reinforcing the company’s long-term dedication to community development and educational empowerment.
